The Photography Show Returns in 2022!

One of the world's most prestigious annual photography events, The Photography Show is the longest-running and foremost exhibition dedicated to the photographic medium, offering a wide range of museum-quality work, including contemporary, modern, and 19th-century photographs as well as photo-based art, video, and new media. The 2022 event will take place May 20-22 at Center415 in New York City.

A durational exhibition titled Historic Sight comprised of 27 artists that responds to the Historic Site plaque (an 8-foot-tall cast bronze plaque in Pittsburgh, PA by artists Lenka Clayton and Phillip Andrew Lewis).

Over the course of a year, the artists will be invited to visually interpret a different word or phrase from the plaque. The exhibition presents a plurality of voices engaged in an abstract and poetic play, collectively challenging the traditional authority of a singular historical narrative.

Exhibition runs from Sept 2021 until Sept 2022.
